Uterine Pathology

Scope

This course focuses on the identification, classification, and clinical management of uterine pathology. It covers common and complex disorders of the uterus, including structural, inflammatory, benign, and malignant conditions, with emphasis on pathophysiology, diagnostic evaluation, and clinical implications across the lifespan.

Objectives

The course aims to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to:

  • Describe normal uterine anatomy and physiology as a foundation for understanding pathology.

  • Identify common uterine conditions such as fibroids, adenomyosis, endometrial hyperplasia, and uterine prolapse.
